Weaving Our Words Podcast: Episode One is Live!

We’re excited to announce that Weaving Our Words Podcast is now live!

Written and Hosted by our very own Wozek Chandler. Weaving Our Words is centered on learning, teaching, and preserving the Aaniiih and Nakoda languages.

Through conversational episodes, guided language lessons, and short practical episodes—like how to create a lesson plan—the podcast supports learners, educators, and community members at every stage of their language journey.

Please note: The first 3 episodes will focus on Aaniiih language learning. Nakoda language episodes are forthcoming as we work to bring a Nakoda speaker onto the podcast.

In the first episode, Wozek sits down with Dr. Chandler for a conversation on language revitalization, leadership, and artistic expression rooted in culture. Their discussion highlights how these roles come together to support and sustain language and community.
