Welcome to the Aaniiih Nakoda College's Native American Career and Technical Education Program. The program is based upon team work and participation which enhances the program atmosphere, benefits the reservation, surrounding communities and provides a rewarding experience for the participants.

The NACTEP objectives specifically meet the needs of the Fort Belknap Indian Comunity by providing comprehensive vocational and technical education services to the members of the Assiniboine and Gros Ventre Tribes. One of the goals is to improve training oportunities that meet current employment demands and to enhance the employability of the participants.

Aaniiih Nakoda College

The mission of Aaniiih Nakoda College is to provide quality post-secondary education for residents of the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation and surrounding communities. The college promotes individual and community development by maintaining and revitalizing the indigenous lifeways of the Aaniinen and Nakoda Tribes and preparing students to succeed in an American technological society.


The Native American Career and Technical Education Program (NACTEP) located in Returning Buffalo, specifically meets the needs of the Fort Belknap Community by providing comprehensive vocational and technical education services.


NACTEP also provides career awareness programs, career guidance and helps with job placement.
