44 degrees and certificates were awarded to 43 graduates at the 2018 Aaniiih Nakoda College Graduation Ceremony held Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Harlem High School Gymnasium.

FIRST NURSING GRADUATES FROM ANC CELEBRATE THEIR COMMUNITY AT PINNING CEREMONY

The Aaniiih Nakoda College (ANC) Grow Our Own Nursing Program is proud of its first nursing graduates: Ms. Kaye Brown and Ms. Penny Hawley. They were accepted into the first cohort of nursing students at ANC and recently completed their coursework as well as the 600-plus hours of laboratory (at ANC's state of the art simulation lab) and clinical. They have graduated with honors from ANC, earning an Associate of Science in Nursing, and are ready to take the National Council Licensing Examination (NCLEX) - Registered Nurse.

WHITE CLAY IMMERSION SCHOOL 8TH GRADE GRADUATION

On Friday, May 11, 2018, the Aaniiih Baahinitataneik Wutunaheeiniin (White Clay Immersion School) (WCIS) held a graduation ceremony for its lone 8th grade student, Istahookithaa (Good Strike Woman) Serena Chandler. She is the first graduating class of the second cohort to graduate from the WCIS.

TATAGA SUMMER SCHOLARS BUFFALO RESEARCH PROGRAM
AND NAMIBIA RESEARCH ABROAD TRIP

The Tataga Summer Scholars Buffalo Research Program and Namibia research abroad trip are part of a large National Science Foundation Grant that was awarded to ANC in 2017. The Tataga Scholars are comprised of 14 graduates from the Harlem, Dodson, and Hays-Lodge Pole High Schools that are interested in receiving college degrees in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
