Dr. Kerry Singer, Dr. Brian Grebliunas
and Randall Werk join ANC faculty.

Dr. Kerry Patrick Singer, from Athens, Georgia, will be teaching students all aspects of communication. She and her husband, Joseph Wertz, recently returned from living in Beijing and Shanghai, China, where she worked in educational management. Joseph is a software engineer.

Dr. Grebliunas is the new Natural Resources/Environmental Science instructor; he hails from Homer Glen, Illinois. Brian enjoys bird hunting with his dog Rado. "I was intrigued by the opportunity to be involved in the ongoing aquatic research that is currently underway here. I enjoy a rural setting and am always in pursuit of waterfowl and fish," Brian stated during a faculty meet and greet.

Randall Werk, an enrolled member of the Gros Ventre tribe, will be the Science Instructor/Community Outreach Coordinator. Carmen Taylor, ANC Academic Dean, stated, "Randall is a great fit for the community outreach because he was born and raised here and understands the cultural aspects in the region." Mr. Werk has a Bachelor of Science degree from MSU-Northern. "I am excited about using my degree and teaching like-minded students, and ANC offers me an opportunity for professional development." Randall hopes to further his education by getting a master's degree in either Environmental Health or Wildlife Biology. Randall worked in road construction for the Bureau of Indian Affairs before getting his bachelor's degree. He and his wife, Alicia Myrick, have four children and live near Three Buttes.

President Carole Falcon-Chandler stated, "Aaniiih Nakoda College has a great reputation and attracts superbly qualified instructors. We are very happy to welcome them to join our well-respected faculty. ANC may be one of the smaller tribal colleges, but we have some of the very best individuals offering our students a wealth of knowledge and skill every year."
