Business Technology - 60 Credits

The goal of the business technology program is to prepare students with knowledge and skills essential for initial employment in the technology environment of today's business world and/or success in the college environment. The background provided by this degree prepares students for occupations where computer work is fundamental.

Graduates will be able to:

Identify and apply the use of technology as a productivity tool, e.g. identify, choose appropriate software for business projects, integrate software to complete business projects

Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in business situations

Utilize mathematical approach to problem solving in business environment, e.g., identify, prepare, interpret financial documents, identify, develop and evaluate business saving and investment options

Demonstrate the relationship between technology and business; e.g., acquire and utilize e-commerce skills, the latest business technology skills that prove valuable in today's market.
